Be honest: Niagara Falls probably wasn't on your conference bucket list. Give us two minutes. In early May the weather is mild, the crowds haven't arrived, and everything you'd want is packed into a few walkable blocks around the convention center.
This is the rare work trip you can actually turn into something memorable. Bring your spouse. Add a day. Stand at the rail of a 167-foot waterfall that draws people from every corner of the planet, then walk five minutes back to dinner with the people who can move your business forward.
You don't have to choose between a productive conference and a trip you'll talk about for years. At NEAA 2027, you get both, and most of it is steps from your seat.
Things to Do
The falls are the headliner, but they're far from the only thing to do. Here's how to make the most of your time in town.
The 150-year-old boat ride that takes you to the base of the American Falls and into the roar of Horseshoe Falls. Ponchos provided. You will get wet.

On the U.S. sideThe oldest state park in the country. Walk Goat Island, ride the Observation Tower, and catch all three falls from the overlooks, free to enter.
Right downtownGaming, live entertainment, and the Western Door steakhouse, connected to the Sheraton and directly across from the convention center.
Across the streetThe panoramic Canadian side is a short walk over the Rainbow Bridge, with a completely different view of the falls.

Everything that matters is clustered around the Niagara Falls Convention Center. Land, check in, network, eat, and see a world wonder, all within a few blocks.
Getting There
Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) is about 25 miles from downtown Niagara Falls. Rideshare, shuttle, and taxis run the route all day.
The Niagara Falls Station (NFL) sits less than five miles from the falls, served by the Empire Service and Maple Leaf lines from the East Coast.
Easy interstate access from across the Northeast, with parking at the convention center and the surrounding hotels.
Heading to the Canadian side? U.S. citizens age 16 and up need a passport, passport card, or enhanced driver's license to cross the border and come back. Worth packing if you want both views of the falls.
